天王川公園の藤をご紹介します。

コクリュウフジ
黒龍藤は野田一歳藤系です。花は濃い藤紫色で、花房は２０～３０ｃｍです。丈夫で育てやすく、すぐに花がつくところから、一歳藤の名称がつけられたといわれています。
Kokuryu Fuji
Kokuryu Fuji is a variety of Noda Issai Fuji. The flower color is dark wisteria purple and the flower clusters are 20 to 30 cm long. This is a hardy and easy-to-grow variety and it is said that the name Issai Fuji (one-year wisteria) was given as it produces flowers quickly.

ヤエコクリュウフジ
八重黒竜藤は珍しい八重のフジです。花は濃い紅紫色で花房は２０～３０ｃｍです。フジの八重咲き品種で、おしべ１０本の大部分が弁化したもので美しく咲きます。別名は牡丹藤です。
Yae Kokuryu Fuji
Yae Kokuryu Fuji is a rare double-petaled wisteria. The flower color is deep reddish-purple and the flower clusters are 20 to 30 cm long. Most of the 10 stamens are transformed into petals in this double-petaled variety of wisteria and the flower blooms beautifully. Another name is for this is Botan Fuji, or peony wisteria.

天王川公園の藤をご紹介します。
We introduce Wisteria of Tennogawa Park

アケボノフジ
赤花の曙藤の花房は３０ｃｍほどです。開花当初の花色はわずかに朱色が入った美しいピンクですが、次第に白くなります。開花時期は遅いほうです。
Akebono Fuji
The flower clusters of the Akebono Fuji, a red flowering variety, are about 30 cm long. The flower color is a beautiful pink with slightly red colors at the beginning of flowering which gradually turn white. The flower blooms relatively late.

ウスベニフジ
薄紅藤の花は名のごとく優しい薄紅色です。開花は４月中旬から始まり、次第に白色になります。翼弁の先端に紅をさしたようですので、口紅藤とも呼ばれます。
Usubeni Fuji
The flower color is gentle usubeni, or light pink, as the name suggests. It begins flowering in mid-April and the flower color gradually turns white. It seems to be wearing lipstick at the tip of alae and is also called Kuchibeni Fuji, or lipstick wisteria.

間もなく始まる藤まつりに向けて、天王川公園の藤をご紹介します。
We introduce Wisteria of Tennogawa Park

ノダナガフジ
野田長藤の花序は大きく粗い特徴がありますが、その姿は美しいものです。花房は７０～８０ｃｍになります。接木５～６年で開花します。
Noda Naga Fuji
The gorgeous Noda Naga Fuji is distinctive for its large and coarse inflorescence. The flower clusters are 70 to 80 cm long. It begins to flower 5 to 6 years after grafting.

シロノダフジ
ショウワシロバナ系の白野田藤は、藤色ではなく白色の花をつけます。花房は約６０ｃｍです。花は小輪で、遅咲きです。昭和白藤とも呼ばれます。
Shiro Noda Fuji
Shiro Noda Fuji is one variety of Showa Shirobana, with white flowers rather than light purple. The flower clusters are about 60 cm long. The flowers are small and they bloom late. It is also called Showa Shiro Fuji.

ムラサキフジ
紫藤の葉はやや細く薄い形です。花房は４０～５０ｃｍです。
ノダフジ系の中では、短い種類です。花はやや小輪で、色は紫色です。
Murasaki Fuji
The leaves are somewhat narrow and thin. The flower clusters are 40 to 50 cm long.
This variety has short clusters among Noda Fuji wisteria varieties. The flowers are rather small and the flower color is purple.

間もなく始まる藤まつりに向けて、天王川公園の藤をご紹介します。
We introduce Wisteria of Tennogawa Park

キュウシャクフジ
埼玉県春日部市牛島のフジが原木です。九尺藤の花房は、長く１００～２００ｃｍにもなり、花色はやや濃い紫色です。花つきはややまばらですが長く美しいので藤棚仕立てに用いられます。

Kyushaku
It is cultivated on a raw wood from Ushijima, Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture. Its long flower clusters can be between 100 and 200 cm in length with a slightly dark purple flower color. It is used for wisteria trellises as the flowers are long and beautiful, even if a bit sparse.

ロクシャクフジ
熊野のナガフジが原木とされます。六尺藤の花房は１５０ｃｍほどです。九尺藤と似ていますが、花色がやや薄い紫色です。

Rokushaku
It is thought that Kyushaku is cultivated on a raw wood from Kumano Naga Fuji. The flower clusters are about 150 cm long. It is similar to Kyushaku but the flower color is slightly light purple.

ムラサキカピタンフジ
紫花美短、（紫加比丹）はヤマフジを園芸化したフジです。
花房は１５～２０ｃｍで、花は大きく花房全体が一度に開花します。
Murasaki-Kapitan
Murasaki-Kapitan is one variety of Yama Fuji cultivated as a garden plant.
Flower clusters are 15 to 20 cm long. Flowers are large and all the flowers in the cluster bloom at once.

シロカピタンフジ
白花美短（白加比丹）はヤマフジ系で花色は白色です。開花は早いほうです。
花房は１５～２０ｃｍで、花は大きく花房全体が一度に開花します。
Shiro-Kapitan
Shiro-Kapitan is an early flowering variety of Yama Fuji. The flower color is white.
Flower clusters are 15 to 20 cm long. Flowers are large and all the flowers in the cluster bloom at once.

藤まつり　 Wisteria Festival2019年04月10日 (水曜日)

天王川公園の藤棚は昭和５３年から５７年にかけて造られ、平成４年に増設されました。
今では、長さ、２７５ｍ、面積約５，０３４㎡の日本有数の見事な藤棚となっています。
初夏「尾張津島藤まつり」には、全国から観光客が訪れます。
今年の藤まつりは4月20日から5月5日までです。
皆様是非お越しください。

The wisteria trellis in Tennogawa Park was built from 1978 to 1982 and was expanded in 1992. Today, this magnificent wisteria trellis measures 275 m in length and 5,034 m2 in area, and is one of the most brilliant wisteria trellises in Japan. In early summer, the Owari Tsushima Fuji Matsuri attracts tourists from all over Japan.

晴れやかな青空で、桜は8分咲きといったところ。
お散歩しながらお花見をされている方がたくさんいらっしゃいました。
明日もお天気がよさそうです。天王川公園でお花見はいかがでしょうか？
